    Yesterday I shared with you my story, today I’m going to share some of Lisa’s story.  My point is I really want you to get it… that you can do anything you set your mind to. Okay so let’s get into Lisa’s story from when I first met Lisa.  She has always been a very hard worker. I met her when she was sixteen and was working her last year in high school she had two jobs. One she was working in a office part time as a receptionist, which was her start into Corporate America. When she got out of school she got a full time position at that company. From there she met a guy who was a recruiter and that’s when Lisa decided that was exactly what she wanted to do. So she started taking the steps to make that happen and then she finally got her shot.  It definitely wasn’t easy when she was learning to be a recruiter. Most of the time she worked 12 to 14 hour days and from doing that she became very good. At her last company she was the number one recruiter in her department. She worked there for about seven years and a half years. Then recently she received a new offer and she wasn’t even looking for anything.  She knew it would be a new challenge because it was something totally different than what she had been doing. So Lisa took the job and within a few  months she was out recruiting everyone in her department. She was telling me one day that most of the people she worked with will not work late.  That’s ok but see Lisa has that do whatever it takes attitude and mentality. That’s why whatever she puts her mind to she does it well and see great success. So okay guys how does all this relate to Network Marketing?   In today success post I’m talking about how we can do anything we put our minds to. But most of us is not willing to pay the price. So let’s get into it no matter what you decide to do you will have to be open to learning. Most of you know I use to be a Electrician I had to learn the trade to get paid. Let me share with you the story how I became a Electrician I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do something different I was working in a warehouse and had a friend that was a general contractor I called him one day and told him I wanted to do something else. So he gave me a job, but the deal was he would pay me $400 a week no matter what if I worked 40 hours a week or less he would pay me that. Well his best friend was a Electrician and one day he ask me,” Did I want to learn how to become an Electrician?” and I said,” yes.” And he started teaching me, but most of the time I worked 12 to 14 hours a day and there was two other guys he was teaching to. But after about a month they quit, because they said he was working us and really only payed us a few dollars an hour. But see I was not looking at it that way, I was thinking once I learned the trade I could get paid more and within one year  I was wiring  house by myself and doing a lot of side jobs making good money. So how does this relate to what we are doing here in Network Marketing see it might take you sometime to get it, it could take you years I was reading a book called,” Beach Money,” where it took this guy 10 years before he made it. Now he makes over a million dollars a year, so my point is if you are willing to learn the skills invested in your self, and have a never quitting attitude you will make it and understand that it is a business and it’s going to cost you more then what you paid just to get started. In today’s success post I’m talking about something that we all want, but most of us don’t have and if your in Network Marketing you should be telling people about what you got your hands on everyday. So we all want to have a financial safe net, and that is to be able to take care of ourselves and family no matter what. But see most people financial safe net is there job and that’s not safe at all in this new economy. I’m going to tell you about one of my friends he got laid off not  long ago this was the second time in the past 5 years this guy was making a 6 figure income now it’s gone. But he still has to take care of his family. They say the 68% of the average Americans know mater what there income is, if they lose there JOB. There’s only 90-days from filing bankrupt so just think about that and the reason why is because they say that is because the average person don’t save any money. And it get worse 85% of people that retire has to change there life styles or get a job after 40 years of work most will have to go back. In the average social security check is just $680.00 who can live off this? So my point is if you are working, figure out a away to save some type of money, and if your in Network Marketing sharing it with everyone you know it  is one of the few ways to build a financial safe net in this economy.

Marketing is for folks who like to think about how people think. To go out among the people and use their personality and skills to promote an idea. Those attracted to this profession take pride in their quickness to react in real time situations, and to be able to connect with other people to get a job done. Because in the end, marketing is about connecting with people. Like the old man on the mountain said: “you will be working well when it doesn’t feel like you’re working.” Marketing is not about selling anything. The best in the business will tell you to be knowledgeable about your product, and then just connect with people. Once they know you’re plugged in and easy to work with, your clients and business connections will be there. You’re all in this together trying to do good business.

What better place than an MLM event, then, to practice pure networking in its most basic form. This is a chance to practice all of your theories and ideas about how to connect with people. Navigating a conference skillfully is an art form and it feels good to make advances and improve. Meeting other like-minded, motivated individuals is always rewarding, and you’ll pick up new ideas from them. The Power Of MLM Event is feeling yourself a part of a big and powerful enterprise. Connecting with other folks from your company and seeing all the good work that goes in reaffirms your sense of purpose. Going to an MLM company event will help a marketer reconnect to their company as they quickly familiarize themselves with the intricacies of their own product and it’s place within the market. A person’s belief will become stronger in the company that they represent. These is an important benefit of an MLM event.

Of course you can’t go to all of the events in your area, but it’s important to go when you can. There are benefits beyond reestablishing your presence on the scene and searching for new contacts. It should be exciting to put yourself to the test and practice your skills. You will be challenged and rewarded by those you encounter, and you will feel proud of your abilities and the support that your company gives you. MLM events are training tools as well as business tools. But perhaps the most important reason to go to an <strong>MLM event</strong> is to reaffirm your basic belief in your company by getting on the ground and meeting the people.
